Does any one know how to reformat a pre installed verion of vista home
premium so as I can install XP?
It would save you $$$ and time were you to outline your problems with Vista. Somebody here may well be able to get Vista to work for you.
Installing XP requires that you research the computer manufacturer website for XP driver availability, download them if available, copy them to removable media for installation after XP is is installed.
You will also need to purchase XP.
It may well be cheaper to purchase a new printer, scanner, webcam or whatever than attempt to revert to XP in a bid to keep old peripheral hardware running..
If you do still want to go back to XP, keep a note of the web site that Carey provided. You will need it..
