Nope, but there is not supposed to be a space between "vsp1" and "cln". Anyway, I saw you got it sorted out.

My 35GB partition is for Vista ONLY. All my files, documents,

It depends on how much space the third-party programs occupies. I can not say what is best for you, personally I have set 50GB aside.

Also keep in mind that even if you can cram all you need into one volume, it is still a necessary to keep a bit of spare room to allow programs to copy/write/cache/shuffle around their files. I would say 10% at least.

Again, what's the command to delete update install files from DOS?

Did you mean other than "vsp1cln"? (see above). Other update files can be removed in Explorer, if you wish to do it at all. It is risky and does not free up more than 40-80MB at best. The files are located in:

%windir%\SoftwareDistribution

Consider limiting the disk space of system restore points instead. Open up a command prompt as admin, and type "vssadmin resize shadowstorage /on=C: /For=C:: /Maxsize=xx" (without the quotes).

Replace "C" with your system drive letter (if it is not C). Substitute "xx" for whatever amount you want to allocate. The Maxsize parameter takes both MB and GB suffixes. By default System Restore is allowed to use approx. 15% of the disk space. Do leave room for multiple restore points though, each of them require approx. 300MB.
