AVG 8 works very well for me under Vista Home Basic. Maybe it's got compatability issues with Vista Ultimate.

Good point. Reason I posted was that I tried AVG FREE under my Vista
and it said there were compatibility issues. So I wondered if any
other users out there had same issue.
