To refresh your memory, it was Justin, who was an avid Vista lover,
claiming Vista was the best thing since sliced bread and was claiming
that the CPU scheduler was a million times better than in XP. His
reasoning behind it was because while running Folding@Home, his XP
machine was unresponsive. It would run at better than 90-95% CPU and not
yield to the system as it should. And the entire reason it ran better was
because of Vista.

I then went on to state something to the effect of....'Well if Vista can
have problems because of 3rd party drivers, why couldn't XP as well'.

He then went on swearing up & down that wasn't the case, and kept
insisting that it was Vista. So then I installed Folding@Home under XP,
configured to use the most juice, and actually created a video using
BBFlashback (maybe?) showing Folding running at 95% on my PC, my PC
specs, and that Folding ran as expected, yielding as necessary, and
causing no problems what-so-ever. Using the typical 'it works fine on my
PC so it can't be an XP issue', as is used with Vista constantly, his
claim had no merit.

He then continued to refute my evidence, changing the 'requirements' with
every post, and when those were answered back, added more.

And then the thread just stopped. Just like the thread which I provided
Frank what he was looking for...a side-by-side comparison of OSX vs.
Vista, and the previously posted OSX pricing direct from Apple. And that
thread just stopped too.

I wonder why ?
