The problem being that, like with XP, for non-Admin accounts the computer
becomes - for those who are not drones - all but unusable.
Rubbish. I use two different office suites, Outlook for email, internet
surfing, a news reader for news groups all as a STANDARD account.
Bingo!
You just confined you only PLAY with your computers. You write some
documents, (electronic version of a typewriter) maybe fiddle with a
spread*** or two, read and post to newsgroups and get email, and oh
a tough one, you surf the Web, yet you consider yourself a computer
"expert" trying to tell everybody else what to do.
Just listen to yourself.
The VAST majority of users do ONLY that.
Well gosh damn, no kidding. It is a fair statement to suggest 90% or
more of this newsgroup's posters fit into that beginner category.
Some of us do way more with our computers and WE are the ones that
often have issues with Vista because we need to push the OS. You would
think people like you would want to learn from more experienced users.
Guess not.
