If they are intent on deleting files without regard as to what the consequences might be then no amount of warning messages will stop them.

Which is why Windows users succumb to, and spread, so much malware and viruses, unlike Linux users....
And what I meant to add, before hitting Send, is that UAC is also there to warn those who have no idea what they are doing, when possibly trying to delete files that could cause their system to malfunction...
