Thanks for the pointers to junction definition.
I still see a problem with C:/ProgramData/Application Data
1. The other junctions in C:/ProgramData are owned by NT
Authority\System
The C:/ProgramData/Application Data is owned by BUILTIN\Administrators
You can see that in the attached png.
2. The other junctions in C:/ProgramData all point to non recursive
folders.
3. The time stamp on C:/ProgramData/Application Data is 08/05/09 which
is the day
I bought this laptop.

Can you please check the ownership of your C:/ProgramData/Application
Data
I only have the one Vista machine.
