Visio 2003 can't save as Visio 2002 properly

    I'm using Visio 2003, my client has Visio 2002. I do a "Save As" to Visio 2002 format, but they still can't open the document. Visio 2002 just hangs. Documents are small, just a few simple shapes.....
    Suggestions?
