Many years ago I dreamt about such an interface - --- you can get 3D from Visio with http://www.wisedimensions.com/ , each page becomes a separate plane in 3D space, with links between them.

I am using Visio's 'organizational chart' to create a family tree, and the
tree is so large that a standard 2d look is very confusing and there is not
enough space. Does Visio have a 3-dimensional add on so that one could put
objects 'behind' others, and then turn or spin the chart to see those itmes?
