If you use a .pdf file, it's basically one big picture. No editing.

We want to start modifying electrical and piping schematics on our
computers,
will visio professional work for us? We will want to import existing
files,
either autocad or pdf, and be able to delete parts and add parts(mostly
lines
and symbols). Autocad is a huge learning curve for most of us, hopefully
Visio will serve the purpose.
