RE: text disappears when i try to edit it

I found the source of the problem: it seems to do this only when I have
created a layer. If I get rid of the layer, then all my text edits normally.
 Not ideal still since I would like to lock elements on my pages, but at
least I have a workaround.

I would still be curious to hear if others have had the same issue!
