Automatically fill data in editbox in a dialog box from another application

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

My windows application launch another external application by clicking at a
button. What I intend to do is to pass some of the data and automatically
fill in some of the field in the dialog box in that external application
(not modifiable as source code is not available). I read subclassing is
allowed only within a process. Is there anyway I can achieve this ?

Thanks.
