When I need to do this, [specify a Font for a menu] I do it as owner-draw. I'm not aware of any other method.
Thanks Joe. I was afraid that this would be the answer.
In that case, for a consistent look, I have to draw it with all the XP/Vista theme drawing stuff. Does anyone have any pointers to sample code for drawing XP/Vista themed owner-drawn menus?
I have been doing this for buttons (which I learned about from Ian E Davies on CodeProject), but have never done it for a menu. [If the Microsoft documentation has an example, I've missed it. And I've looked on CodeProject where there are a few menu projects but I haven't found what I'm looking for. Maybe I've missed something there too?]
