CMFCMenuBar + menu accelerators/mnemonics

Hi,
The CMFCMenuBar object acts really weird - when it is positioned
horizontaly there are no mnemonics under menu item, however
accelerators work. If you position CMFCMenuBar vertically (by docking
to base pane) mnemonics appear. What is the reason for this?
