I posted a reply to a guy named Peter about his tooltip problem in an

my message on the board. Can anyone explain that to me?

I have some problems too..I don't see one of my posts when I view this
group in my newsreader but I do see it when viewed in google groups. I
also see replies to it in my newsreader. Oh well.

Eric:

Are you pointing your newsreader directly at the Microsoft server
(msnews.microsoft.com)? If you access it via your ISP there may be a
delay in updating.

I'm pointing it directly at the microsoft server (first
news.microsoft.com and now msnews.microsoft.com), maybe it's a bug in my
news reader (which also happens to be my mail program). Since I noticed
this missing post problem (which was just a few days ago), I've started
double checking with the web interface now for threads I consider really
important to me. Hope I didn't miss anything far back that I really
wanted to see...

What news reader are you using.? Also, you can see your posts in
Google Groups (or some other web interface) if you need to confirm
your postings.
