Reliable? Not bloody likely!

Remember that WIn95 was a file management subroutine library with a GUI interface grafted
on. The differences between Win95 and Win16 were mostly in the illlusion that it was a
32-bit operating system (it wasn't: it was a 16-bit file management subroutine library
with a 16- bit GUI attached that happened to run 32-bit programs)
