(I was told that on the Apple MacOS systems, programmers tend to use
Java or Objective-C with Cocoa framework.)
And "I was told that on the Windows systems, programmers tend to use
visual Basic or MFC."
I one wants to be cross-platform it will be C++. Or maybe Java.
And if it is C++, then it better be standard!
There is really no argument one can bring to convince me that
good standard compliance is a bad thing in VS.
And I am even less inclined to accept intentionaly breaking
the standard (with stuff like char being Unicode).
