The most annoying thing for me, not knowing at the time, was that Vista
happily went through the motions of changing all the files in the folder
(in question) to non-read-only, then just changed them back afterwards
(after me waiting for like 10 minutes). I wish it would have just said
something like: "You dummy you can't do that so why ask me to waste your
time". :o)
I am trying to keep an eye out for signs of "virtualisation". I don't want
it to happen, but maybe it won't be obvious if it does?
