Adding functionality to Outlook Express

Something I see in newsgroups alot I thought I would try to fix.
I am not sure which reader everybody is using, but I use outlook express.
So, I top post, because that is where the cursor is.
I was thinking of having something like a reader and a writer.
One splitter pane is the previous message, one pane is the new message.
(Like the double text editor in Visual Studio. Move the little thingy just
above the Scroll bar arrow to see the same text in 2 panes.)
So the subsequent text would automatically go on the the bottom.
You would not be able to change the previous message nor would you have to
scroll down to see the response.
The previous message will not be included in the response, but will show up
in the top pane.
So a reader can view the message while composing a response.
That would fix 2 problems.
Top and bottom posting problem solved. Both are eliminated.
If your lacking internet speed, you can just download the latest message,
instead of every previous post.
Which is done in the newsreader automatically anyways.
Plus, I like the way Event Viewer works. There is a up arrow for the
previous message and a down arrow for the next message.
No need to keep opening up new windows. I'd like to add that as well.
I'm not too sure how adding those buttons to Outlook or IE work.
Is an idea like that that feasible without having access to the Outlook
Express source code?
Eh, what do you think?
