Which version of VS are you using? VS2005 for example generates a HUGE number of icon
types, and I have to keep deleting them because I don't feel like drawing every one of
them in every size and every resolution.

But for the icons you have, make sure that you have both sizes.

You did not say what kind of project you have. Note that doc/view may present different
icons depending on the document type.
