Re: time-server question

"Some precision"? Well, probably on the order of a fraction of a second.

Look up SNTP, the Simple Network Time Protocol, and look for related examples (google
gives a massive number of hits)

Note that in typical installations, the domain server syncs with a time standard using
SNTP and the clients all synchronize with the domain server, so it is rare that you would
have a machine that is off by very much.

On windows computers there is no such thing as exact time and date. If you

what about getting the time with some precision?
Can you tell me how can I get the time from an Internet time-sever?
