EnumPorts() and COM ports not registering

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I'm using EnumPorts() to enumerate the COM and LPT ports on the local
system. I have a couple of different bluetooth softwares from DLINK that I
install for serial communications. One software assigns a port id of COM19
and the other assigns a port id of COM40. The softwares are on different
machines. For some reason on one machine (COM19) is being enumerated but the
other machine (COM40) is not. The port (COM40) shows up in Device Manager.
Is there some other method of enumerting these ports for bluetooth?
Thanks
