Re: Up to date MFC Book

Hello All,

I've been programming with the platform SDK for a while and am now
interested in learning MFC. The books recommended for learning MFC
usually date back to Visual C++ 6.0.

Are there any good books in which the information is still relevant for
MFC 7.0 (Visual Studio 2005)?

Regards.

I think you are right. But really MFC is hardly changed since VC6. Only the IDE has changed (it got worse!). The old books are still good:

Petzold (for SDK)
Prosise
Kruglinski, Shephard, Wingo
Blaszczak

Much more serious, IMHO, is the fact that there are hardly any books on C++/CLI.
