dBase really destroyed the company; the result of the purchase was that they produced a
working copy just in time for Access to render it obsolete. I used dBase for many years.
I am intimately familiar with its massive defects. So was everyone else, which is why it
was quickly superseded once a more reasonable product appeared. Having Microsoft acquire
FoxPro didn't help it either.
