Yeah, I think this original conversation sort of diverged from
CString::Empty() into a treatise on general defensive programming. I got a
similar laugh after thinking about it this morning again. To me is seems
like a "who cares" one way or the other.

The funniest part of this entire conversation is that it is about
"CString::Empty()". If I was given a new library called "CString", I
would *never* think of calling "Empty()" at the construction or
destruction of an object.
