Hi, Gary,
Thank you so much for your reply. I am using Window XP Pro with "Language
for No-Unicode Programs" setting as Chinese, and "??" is Chinese
characters(2 Chinese characters). In both Window XP Pro and Window 2003
computers, I run the client software, I copy the Chinese characters from
WindowXP Pro input box to Window 2003 input box(using Microsoft Remote
Service). So the user names in both input boxes are the same(Chinese
characters are displayed in Window 2003 correctly), but when submit to
server, server site receives different strings. Window XP Pro seems to work
as expected, but with Window 2003, Server received garbled text for Chinese
characters only(English characters are fine). Is there any way that I can
fix the problem in my client softare? It is kind of confusing for users,
since they can input Chinese character correctly in Window 2003.
Best regards,
Charlie
