Assuming you're creating the dialogs in a reasonably recent VS dialog
editor, you can right-click in the dialog and set a font -- by try to
limit yourself to choices you're reasonably certain will be present
on the user's machines. Of course, some applications cure this
problem by shipping and installing a few fonts of their own with the
application.
