I want to be able to read an Excel file into my application. I don't
want to display it in a view, I just want to be able to read the
header, rows and columns. From what I can see, it can be done with DAO
or ODBC, but it isn't reliable. I've been told it can also be done
with automation, but that's all very confusion, and I can find no
documentation at all on it. So where do I begin?
