Andy,
WRONG!
I was looking to extract the files from the package, rather than
install it. I don't want it installed, I just want to extract the files
from that InstallShield executable.
That will tell me what it is.
And thus my question, is not answered by the link. typing the
executable name followed by /? or -? provides no information.
Maybe I didn't search the Microsoft website long enough, as
I only spent 5 minutes searching for the required information.
And I spent another minute or two submitting the question to
the group, no big loss, but I don't want to spend an hour
searching Microsoft's website for something that might have
an available answer in other areas. I've just added another
three minutes to the quest.
Also, if there is a list of files on Microsoft's website somewhere,
I really want to extract the files and examine the files and
compare the files to other files on my system. So we're back
to the file extraction question. <g>
Maybe I can get PowerArchiver to give me some help.
Thanks for the reply, and I apologize that I didn't make it clear
on what I was looking for. ;-)
