Sounds like a file system issue. Is the .rc file marked read-only and/or system?

Hi all,
I have recently upgraded from VC2003 to 2008. When I make changes to a
dialog by adding buttons, etc., and try to save the resource (Ctrl
S) , or just try to build/rebuild the project (when the .rc file has
to be saved anyway), instead of saving the .rc file, it offers me to
overwrite it, and then fails to overwrite since the file is already
open (duh). Has anyone experienced this problem? As long as my editing
does not involve changes to the dialogs everything compiles fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
.
