Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I beg to differ. I don't know where this myth came from, however
it's quite
tenacious of life. I heard it in the past and occasionally hear
today that MS ships undertested and unstable products with catchy
garish UI. In fact, MS' products are some of the best in the
market. There are few SW vendors that can match MS as far as
stability and documentation are concerned.

But surely they would do a lot better if they were given a
fraction of the resources wasted on technologies like
System.Windows.Forms (which lasted only about 6 years before MS
decided to obsolete it, and the QA there wasn't that great
either).

This information is certainly new to me. WHy do you think that
System.Windows.Forms is abandoned by MS?
