Hi,
What will be the priority of the timer thread created using the
function SetTimer? Does it have a high priority? How can i increase
the priority of the timer thread?

There is no thread. And the WM_TIMER message is very low priority, by design.

You could get some control over priority by actually creating a thread, then posting a user-defined message to your main thread.
