There are numerous plugins (free and for sale) for MS Office
Outlook, which implement spam filtering. Most of them, if
not all, based on so-called Bayesian filtering. Bayesian
filtering is named after Thomas Bayes, a British
mathematician who published several works in probability

Address".

Blocking spam mails based on their sender mail address or IP
is rather naive approach. Spammers usually fabricate sender
address and use bogus IP's.
