measuring code size

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Greetings!

I'd like to reduce the code size of an application a bit, but in order to do
that I'd first need to measure it in a more scientific way than using the
filesize. What I was thinking of was a tool that could tell me the used
sections and their sizes when applied to an object file (which I hope would
be meaningful). Any idea how to do that?
