Sometimes I am forced to use VC++ 6.0 So I have to install that old
IDE on my PC. But to install it, I have to first Install MS Java VM.
As far as I know, Microsoft has stopped supporting it, so installing
this could be just troublesome. Furthermore, why would I need a Java
VM when I'm programming VC++ programs?
Is it possible to install VC++ 6.0 without MS JAVA VM?
Plus, when I install VC++ 6.0, the Windows File Protection says that
some important system files have been changed to unrecognized
versions. I think VC++ 6.0's files are older than those came with XP
service pack 2. Actually I don't want to use VC++ 6.0 but I am just
forced to use it sometimes, so how can I install VC++ 6.0 with minimum
effects on the Windows XP? Thanks.
