Re: Menu ID editing

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Alex,

When you click on the menu ID in the resources and when you have the Properties window open you will see where you can change the ID. I usually do this before I do anything else so that the ID doesn't get propogated when I add new items to the menus.

I think the IDE is OK and you'll get used to some of this stuff as you go along. It is especially "OK" if you use other languages like C# or VB in addition to C++. Obivoulsy, it's more geared towards .NET than it is MFC these days.

You can edit the ID in the properties list. Yes, this thing has an IDE
that deserves hating :(

I'm sorry, Scott, but I have to keep bothering you - where can I find
the "properties list"? If I select this menu and "right button click"
there is no Properties option at the bottom

And another thing - In VS6 class wizard created so beautifully
structured .h files. Now it's a mess.
