My understanding from others is that the only issue is debugging .Net controls in a browser - IE will always use CLR 2.0 if available (which isn't helpful in ..Net 2003!)

I've not had 2005 Team or Pro, but VC++ v6 EE, VC++ 2003 EA, and VC++
2005 Express, all lived peacefully on the same machine when I needed

I have now installed the first two with Platform SDK, without any
problem; but I don't want to lose anything.
Back up your machine before each installation so you don't "lose
anything". If you experience any problem, restore your machine to
its previous state.
