Re: VC++ 6 / VC++2003 / VC++2005 in same machine.

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

My understanding from others is that the only issue is debugging .Net controls in a browser - IE will always use CLR 2.0 if available (which isn't helpful in ..Net 2003!)

Any or you have experience having VC++ 6, VC++ 2003 and VC++ 2005
installed in the same machine?

I've not had 2005 Team or Pro, but VC++ v6 EE, VC++ 2003 EA, and VC++
2005 Express, all lived peacefully on the same machine when I needed
them all.

I have now installed the first two with Platform SDK, without any
problem; but I don't want to lose anything.

Back up your machine before each installation so you don't "lose
anything". If you experience any problem, restore your machine to
its previous state.
