adding resource cpp files

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Will all cpp files that get added to the "resource files" folder in a
project be compiled and linked (just like they were added to the
"source files" folder)? I have a project where I'm including many cpp
files from a different project that have not been added to a library,
so they need to be compiled and linked. My purpose is to try and keep
these extra class files separate from those I am developing for my
project (in "source files"). If they will be properly linked, this
will serve my purposes.

Thanks.
