RE: Major Microsoft Visual C++ .NET Problems

Your experience is somewhat reminiscent of my experience with Visual C++ 6.0.
I had bought a disk at a student bookstore when I was taking a course in C++.
The bookstore sold this student edition at a very reduced price. About a year
later my computer failed and I bought a new one and installed the VCPP 6.0
on the new computer. It seemed to work OK for a few weeks and then started
acting very strangely and then just "died". Some people suggested that I had
violated the End User Agreement. I think the disc could only be used on one
computer. The odd thing was that it worked OK for a time after installing it
on the new computer. I am currently using VC++.Net 2002. I bot it from
Amazon. I am currently using it on its second computer with no problems.
