I am trying to set up an MFC project in VC++ 6.0 with database support using
the MFC AppWizard. Going through the process, I select "Database View with
File Support" then hit the "Data Source" button. I select a test database I
created using MS Access 2000, but it gives me an unrecognized file format
error. Using MS Access, if I convert the database to the previous version,
the data source selection proceeds. However, the ability to manipulate the
DB with Acc2000 is lost (without upgrading the DB to Acc2000 format). It
will get real old real quick having to convert format with Acc2000.\
Is there any way to get the VC++ 6.0 MFC AppWizard to recognize an Acc2000
format file?
Thanks!
Don
