Set DCOM Executable's identity as System account?
Hello,
I have a DCOM application created from the ATL executable project of VS
2005. I need it to manage some resource that needs higher privilege to
access. Other applications with lower privilege can use objects in the DCOM
application to access the resource. It seems that DCOMCNFG disabled the
system account under its identity setting. Only ATL service application can
choose system account.
Is it possible to set system account to a DCOM module? I don't want to
specify a specific user account that needs a password to be typed when the
DCOM application is installed.
Regards,
Shangwu
