No idea about the right newsgroup (perhaps someone else may answer).
I sometimes experience this problem too, but it's not reprocuble for me.
Just re-opening VS was a sufficient workaround for me.
What you can do if you have this problem all the time: Setup a new machine
(or VM) and install the new Visual Studio Beta (Whidbey?) and try it there.
If the bug still happens there, then they probably fix it, if you post it on
the MSDN buglist.
