Insert Row thru OLEDB

I am devleoping an OLEDB consumer application. I am able to read data from a
table but when i am writing to another table its crashing if its string data.
It crashes when the ATL methos SetValue checks for column size and the size
of the variable with data and asserts. Wht cud be the reason. Please help me
out
