On that point, we have a *fundamental* disagreement, beyond which I

disagree strongly enough with that statement.

I hope that this is just a joke!

It should be obvious that I have made my statement "You can't go too
far with security checks" only with regard to development of computer
code - and nothing else.

Well, yes and no. It wasn't said in any sort of spirit of meanness. I view
it as a life philosophy. We all need to come to our own, individual
conclusions on, "how much insurance is enough?" In computer code, and
everywhere else. But I can't begin to fathom a concept of "can't be secure
enough." That's the definition of paralysis to me.

To me, it's absolutely and undeniably
disproved, conceptually, everytime one witnesses the TSA at work.

TSA = Transport Security Administration? Right?

Yeah. :-(

Be thankful you live in a *former* Nazi state! Be very, very
thankful. :-(

Germany isn't better then the UK or the United States: Lots of
'security things' have been installed in the last 2, 3 years which
are more close to the german dictatorship of the past then the german
democracy of today. The main difference is that the government
nowadays tells the people that all is done 'to preserve democracy'
and 'to fight terrorism'.

That's the story we get as well. It's just dispicable. The terrorists
*have* won!

Thanks... Karl
