On that point, we have a *fundamental* disagreement, beyond which I think
it's impossible to move. I mean, I just don't have words to disagree
strongly enough with that statement.

It should be obvious that I have made my statement "You can't go too far
with security checks" only with regard to development of computer code -
and nothing else.

To me, it's absolutely and undeniably
disproved, conceptually, everytime one witnesses the TSA at work.

TSA = Transport Security Administration? Right?

Germany isn't better then the UK or the United States: Lots of 'security
things' have been installed in the last 2, 3 years which are more close to
the german dictatorship of the past then the german democracy of today. The
main difference is that the government nowadays tells the people that all
is done 'to preserve democracy' and 'to fight terrorism'.
