I think that most of what can be done has already been mentioned.
Thank you for your good advices, but my question still open is "I want to create a pure VB app which can dynamicaly load and unload portions of code as needed." rather than how to optimize my code. I'm afraid that at a first glance this might seem to be impossible, but unhappily I'm one of those coders who don't like to hear the word 'impossible' :-)
