I know. That was by design. I was hoping that he would investigate it
himself and figure out the issue. I was trying to teach him to fish.

I just tend to feel that too many people use this forum as their first
option, rather than looking for themselves. And everytime we hold their
hands, we are perpetuating this. For these simple questions, I would much
rather see replies telling them where to look, rather than a detailed
response. Otherwise we end up with posts along the lines of, "How do I
create a 'Hello Word' app? Can someone please post me the code."

There was a group on the old DevX newsgroups along the lines of
vb.beginners. Unfortunately we don't have that here.

Again, don't take anything that I have said above personally, it isn't an
attack on you.

I certainly wasn't taking it personally - I was more amused by how closely
it followed mine, both in points that it made and the order that it made
them. It even mentioned the getting rid of the End statement. Great
minds...?
