Re: Problem with winmm.dll under Win2000/XP

Hello all,
sorry, that I said nothing more, but my problem ist not that some
printer uses 16 bit coordinates. Windows 98 is a 32-bit system and VB 6 is a
32-bit language. All API declares are 32-bit librarys, and it is written
nowhere that the winmm.dll is a 16-bit DLL, or a 32-Bit library who uses 16
bit coordinates.
I said to you that I've tested by my problem more than 100 Codes in VB,
Delphi and C++, in hope to find that fuc*** * error. But without exception
all the codes who uses the mixerGetLineControls in connection with
MIXERCONTROL_CONTROLTYPE_PEAKMETER fails in Windows 2000 or XP. And in the
MSDN or in the KB nowhere is written, why that, what runs perfectly in
Windows 98, fails in Windows 2000/XP.
My hope was, that here in this newsgroup where people who can help me or who
can solve this problem together with me. That presupposes however that you
tested my code, and I would not like to discuss about 16-bit printer, then
ends any disussion for me. If you have problems to translate my comments,
please ask me, I will translate it for you, and sorry for translate
mistakes, but no one is perfectly ;-)
so long ...
