Something is definitely screwed up. I changed your "author" names to
mine and got over 5 MILLION as the total hits. Went into the Google
search page and got 11,200 or so. Tried it again and got 10,600 just by
closing Google and reopening it. On top of that, I went to the last link
for my name and was greeted by this message
"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some
entries very similar to the 991 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results
included."
and the last post by me was dated in November 2002. I've been posting
since 1999. Apparently, Google won't show more than 1000 total past
found past postings (that is all that it shows me). Perhaps you have to
refine the search criteria in order to get the top-most 1000 responses.
I think the "old" Google used to give back more than 1000 responses.
Rick
