Hi,
What do you mean, interrupt? You can kill an executing task. AFAIK, you
cannot stop and restart it (except crudely). You may want to take a look at
the Taskmanager code on www.mvps.org/vb.
I also have code called "Watchdog" that does the crude starting and stopping
that I mention (and uses a comparable approach to that of TaskManager). If
you send me email, I can share it with you.
